Hi Mr.Howard! I picked an indiana bat and it eats Terrestrial insects, beetles,moth's and butterflies you can find them near the great lakes. They are nocternal animals.

Mr.Howard, I choose a Bald Eagle. It likes to live in a large tree or a cliff near water. They eat fish,turtles,snakes,waterfowl and other small animals.They were on the endangered list but they got removed from it on August-9-2007!:)

My endangered animal is the Karner blue butterfly. It eats (Lupinus perennis), the only known food plant of larvae. It lives in the Pine barrens and oak savannas on sandy soils, containing wild lupines.

I chose the Kirtland's snake it eats earthworms and slugs. It was placed on the endangered species list in Michigan in 1964.

I choose piping plover. The Piping plovers eat marine worms, crustaceans, beetles, fly larvae, mollusks, and other small marine animals and their eggs. It live on
beaches along shorelines of the Great Lakes. The piping plovers has been on the list from 1985 right now id 2008 so it have been on the list for 24 years.

I chose thre canada lynx because... A Canada lynx was recently documented in the Upper Peninsula. The counties listed here have the highest potential for Lynx presence. Alger, Baraga, Chippewa, Delta, Dickinson, Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw, Luce, Mackinac, Marquette, Menominee, Ontonagon, Schoolcraft.
